How do I set my member profile image?

This feature is currently in trial operation and will be gradually introduced in our cinemas. It is not yet available everywhere.

Yorck Unlimited is non-transferable according to our terms and conditions. Therefore, we regularly check photo IDs to verify the identity of our members. If you upload a profile picture to your account, it will be displayed to our staff when your membership card is scanned—saving you time at the entrance and sparing you the hassle of digging out your ID.

Your profile picture can only be set once and cannot be changed after uploading. Therefore, make sure that all of these conditions apply:

  • The photo is in JPEG format
  • A portrait photo of you (no comics, drawings, filters, etc.)
  • The photo shows your face clearly and without obstacles
  • There are no other people next to you in the photo
  • You are satisfied with the photo 😊
  1. Log in to our website and go to the "My Account" function.
  2. Click on "My Data" and then on "Set a Profile Picture".

    If you already have a profile picture, it will be displayed there and the button to "Set a Profile Picture" will be disabled.

  3. Click on "Set Profile Picture". This will open the file browser on your computer or smartphone. Choose the desired picture of yourself that you want to upload. It should be in JPEG format and not larger than 1 MB. Make sure it is a portrait photo of yourself with no other people visible.
  4. You now have the option to crop the image. Make sure the crop, like a passport photo, focuses on your face.


  5. You will then be asked one last time if you are satisfied with the picture. Think carefully, as it cannot be changed later. If you are happy with it, click "Confirm."


It may take up to 5 minutes for your profile picture to appear in your account and on our scanners after you upload it.

Profile photos are only displayed to our staff at the counter when your membership card is scanned and are not publicly visible. If you wish to delete your profile photo, please contact hilfe@yorck.de and provide your card number.
